Article Marketing is a Must in website promotion

Some colleagues of mine recently conducted a study of over 1 million keywords and where traffic was generated from for those words.

The results blew them (and me) away. Ezine Articles generated over 15% of the traffic, this absolutely rammed home the importance of article marketing to your website promotion efforts and plan, especially ezinearticles.

A simple summary of article marketing for your website promotion plan is:

1. Pick a topic that is relevant to you product or service
2. do keyword research to find terms people search for but don’t have too much competition
3. Write a eye catchy or controversial title
4. Do some research on other similar articles as reference and to see what others are writing
5. take a different or fresh approach, write the article from a different perspective (say an employee or customer)
6. Use your keyword naturally throughout
7. Make sure your article is a quality piece of writing, check for good structure, spelling, grammar, originality
8. DO NOT use an article spinner or simply copy articles
