How to Promote a New Website
Promoting a website is not a work of one day or one week, it takes time to improve a website’s position on search engines. And if your website is a new one then it takes more time.
For promoting a website we need to make a good strategy before launching it. A good planned activity includes many factors like targeting the keywords, developing unique content with good keyword density and a user friendly interface design with strong structuring of the site.
First of all we need to find out the ultimate goal of the website. The goal may be selling a product or affiliate marketing or some other business promotion. The promotional activities may vary according to the objective of the website. Overall the SEO activities for promoting anew website can include following steps:
? Keyword Research: Find out the targeted Keywords that can be helpful in getting your goal for the site. Like if you are planning to launch website for tour and travel then it would be good to select keywords of tour travel Packages, hotels booking and travel tips. It is also advisable to select keywords with good search rates. Try to select relevant keywords that define your business.
? Register a domain: To launch a website on internet you need to have a domain. Register it with a good service provider. Try to book a domain name which can define your business. For example if you are planning to launch a website for tour and travel then use these words: tour, travel in your domain name, else you can use your company’s name.
? Develop quality content: A quality unique content is the most important factor for promoting your website in search engines. ? Link Building: Once your site is listed in top Search Engines you can start link building with directory submission and bookmarking.
? Monitoring your website: Once you have launched your website and visitors have started to come you must monitor the path of the visitors. It is very important to know the flow of the traffic.
? Re optimization: By analyzing the traffic and other stats one can easily determine that whether the goals are obtained or not so if needed re optimize your site and upload it again.
? Feedback: Add a section of feedback on your site and check all new feedback and think on them.
? Maintenance: Make changes and modifications on your site to improve its position on search engine results. Add news items or blogs to make it dynamic.
Promotion of a website is not a business of one or two weeks it takes time so don’t panic if you are not getting results as per your expectations. It is patience games so don’t think that you will be on the top after great efforts for some time.

Tips: Always add rating with your review. The most important part of this website marketing strategy is to be objective, don’t try to write your review as a sales letter. Always provides review of similar products this give your visitors something to measure your reviews against.
- Hybrid Websites
Finally you could use all those website marketing strategies suggestion and try to mix them to see what works best for you. You could build a directory website and put some reviews on it. There are no written rules about the perfect way to build a website so try different options see which one works for you.
It is very important that you choose your website marketing strategy and stick to it. Don’t try to give everything to everyone choose a specific niche and attack it hard, be specific and be focused that is the way to make money online.

As the ***Product Creator***, affiliates will hammer YOUR sales page with traffic and bring in revenue on autopilot… which is obviously better than YOU being 1 out of a thousand affiliates trying to hammer ANOTHER product owner’s sales page with traffic.

I just want to run through three essential tools I currently use that you could find extremely useful. They are free or have a free trial.

The first is Google Trends…

Google Trends analyzes a designated portion of Google web searches to compute how many searches have been done for the terms you enter.
What you may not know, however, is that the ‘trends’ tool can be very beneficial in all sorts of ways, especially if you’re thinking of creating an info product or are
about to commence an affiliate promotion using Adwords or another PPC search engine.
Take for instance the data for the keyword phrase ‘affiliate marketing’
Now this is quite astonishing…
At the time of writing, according to Google, almost twice as many people who speak Indonesian searched for the term ‘affiliate marketing’ in the last 12 months than those who
speak English.
These are amazing statistics especially when you consider that 85% of product sales in this niche come from English speaking countries.
But what does this mean and how is it useful? Well, there are obviously millions of people in the Far East searching for information on this and judging by the fact they don’t buy English versions (presumably because of language complications) this tells me is that there is evidently a HUGE market for an affiliate marketing ebook in the
Indonesian language.
Of course, there would be many other factors you’d have to look at before you went ahead with this type of project but I hope you can see what a useful tool Google Trends can be for doing research and collecting demographic data.
When you have some time, I suggest you spend 30 mins or so familiarizing yourself with it.

The second tool is ‘Domain Samurai’

What this tool does is to help you find relevant and catchy domains extremely quickly and even though there are plenty of similar tools to be found online, in my opinion,
this is by far the most effective.
The reason is, you can refine your searches in such a way that it eliminates all the ‘available’ junk domains that you would never even think of purchasing.
On most domain search tools you don’t get this option so usually it takes literally hours to wade though all of them before you find something that’s actually suitable.
In fact, I used this tool last week to grab an amazing domain for a health and dieting product I’m looking to promote.
Initially I did a manual search using all my key phrases… but as always, every time I came up with something half decent, one of these wretched domain investment companies had already registered it to sell on (something that drives me absolutely nuts by the way!).
So after failing with this, I went to Domain Samurai, typed in ‘Fat Loss’, deleted all the ‘synonyms’ on the right hand side of the page, selected ‘update results’ and was faced with
an absolute cracker of a ‘.com’ domain on the very first page.
Job Done!
So the next time you need to find a good domain for a blog, product or promotion etc, definitely check this one out! It is brand new and brilliant from the guys who created the best keyword research tool Market Samurai.

I’ve known about Keyword Spy for a while now but haven’t used it much until recently. It’s an amazing tool and something I would consider imperative if you use PPC as a
method of getting targeted traffic. What it does is to tell you exactly what keywords your competitors are using and which ones are making them the most money.
Let me explain…
For those who don’t know, the most common way that PPC marketers create a profitable Adwords campaign (although in my opinion, not the most effective) is to start off
with hundreds or even thousands of keywords along with 5 or 10 ad variations, set up sales tracking to see which ones create sales and make the most money, then scrap
the ones that don’t until they’re left with a group of high converting words and ads that make consistent profits.
So…if I were setting up a campaign to promote a Clickbank product such as ‘Sit Stay Fetch’, I would search through all the Adwords listings until I found someone advertising the same product, make note of the URL, go to my Keyword Spy account, type in the domain name and see which keywords they were bidding on.
I would then create my own promotion and then literally copy the keywords and ads (making a few changes to the ad copy to avoid any trouble) and hopefully start making some money pretty quickly.
Whether this would happen straight away is certainly not definite, but what I would certainly do is save myself a few hundred (or more like a few thousand) dollars by NOT bidding and collecting data on keywords that have already been proven not to make money!
It’s a great tool as well as a big time and money saver. Vital for me with so little spare time.
